Default what are these really selling for?

Hi, I love the C70, but $$$. I watched one on epay, new, 08, 48K buy now, 40K opening bid, just ended, no mention of a reserve, but still no bigs, so thats 17% off list on an 08?
Anyone ahev any idea what these are selling for? Any 07 deals even better? thanks, Dave

why not get on the internet and see what these are selling for. Maybe the sticker is 48G but the original purchase price may well have been lower. See what the c70 is selling for used. Do not forget that a new auto suffers a huge drop in value the moment you drive it out of the dealership. If you think the price of a Volvo is low on resale, check out the depreciation on a new Chevrolet or Ford..............and compare that to a new Honda or Toyota.

hi, realize all cars drop in value, some more, some less, I guess I did not explain myself well. the question really is: Has anyone shopped for one lately? If so what are the prices / deals people are being offered. My epay comment reflected what appeared to be an oppertunity to buy a new 08, at a 17% off list price. I though that was a great deal, but was hoping other could chime in Thanks, Dave

Do you think its a good deal? if so buy it. IF you're looking for validations then heck, I'd love if someone gave me 17% off my next purchase. I'm on my way to the bar. So my purchase will be alcohol.

I plan to buy my next car on ebay. For the reason that the deals are good. Do your homework, and you'll be fine.

Be patient and shop around the net. You'll find one. I just got my wife a 2007 C7, 4300 miles for $35,750. It was around $3000 less than what other ones around town were selling for. Good luck!

Just bought mine. Please keep in mind i live in Western NY and its winter so got a great deal on a convertible. If it were May, i doubt you could buy for this. Basically what i did was call a dealer in another city and told them what i was looking for and told them i expected 8% off MSRP. Clean deal, no trade. He spoke with his manager and said they would do it for a car on the lot. they had a black one with most of the options i wanted. i then called around to other dealers and all of them agreed to the 8% off for cars on the lot. I found one in Buffalo that was willing to search Northeast inventory for me and they found the exact car i wanted. I bought it over the phone and picked it up later that week. heres the details:

2008 C70
Automatic
Silver, black interior
Premium package
climate
dynaudio
convenience package

MSRP - $46325

Price - $42,619
