Default 2 questions: B Mode and Charging

I have 2 unrelated questions that may be silly (2023 XC60 Recharge):

1. Can you shift back and forth between D and B mode at any speed? E.g., can I be going 50 mph in D and shift into B?
2. I know it would not be efficient and take up a space better used by a true EV, but assuming no others around or need it, can the XC60 be plugged into a DC fast charger? Will the car be able to handle that? I know it will regulate the electricity, but can it do that safely with a DC charger?

Thanks

1. Yes - no issue. But if you shift from D to B at high speed with your foot off the accelerator, the car will immediately begin to slow quite forcefully, so keep that in mind.
2. No - these cars only support Level 2 charging from an A/C charger. The DC chargers use a different connector.

Thanks so much for your answers philipm785 and very helpful information. Ha, yes I thought about the accelerator issue in shifting from D to B at higher speeds but wasn’t sure it was even possible. With respect to charging, I have never been to a DC charger and did not realize that they have a different connector. Makes sense and again, your response is much appreciated.
