As you can see I have posted several things that have been a concern to me on my Volvo recharge vehicles. Overall I absolutely enjoy driving the Volvo XC 60. I want to share that the 2024 XC 60 looks very similar to the 2021 XC60 but underneath that skin it is a very different vehicle. Things are greatly improved in many respects.

A few things that I like share are the engine which now has just a turbocharger. The result is a response to the throttle a lot smoother acceleration. The transmission being in a B MODE works very well and allows me to actually do one panel driving. Also in the B mode it is generating energy to put back into the battery as I can actually see the miles added over a period of time. The brakes are not as grabby as they used to be. I really felt the 2021 XC 60 recharge was a fantastic vehicle especially the ride and comfort. I had air suspension as I ordered this car and it had all the options. The 2024 XC 60 recharge as air suspension and I would say overall the whole suspension itself has been fine-tuned as the ride and comfort are even better than it was in the 2021.

MUSIC : An interesting thing is for those who use a thumb drive to bring their own music into the vehicle it does ( at least with the app I am using) require a thumb drive that is formatted in FAT 32. It also requires a program that is downloaded in order to recognize the thumb drive and play the music. The app I am using is called Audio Wagon. The app is great and it works so much better than the 2021 system. There are others I am sure that would also work great. Overall, the 2024 XC 60 recharge is a great car and worth the money. I know it is priced at the higher end but I do think you get what you pay for. My next Volvo will be the EX 60 - full electric in a few years.
