Default C40 in Fjord Blue

Ordered a C40 in Fjord Blue. The interior will have the Microtech in Fjord Blue. My order has progressed from "Design Submitted" to "Order Confirmation". It is currently awaiting "Preparing for Production". Curious if anyone else is in the same boat.

Cool color. I will check it out once it hits our shores. In the interim, despite the software bugs & bugs the XC40 has it's still the best car I've ever driven. Adaptive CC should be standard as well. I'm curious what will be standard on the C40.

The following link to the Volvo C40 page might have what you seek.
Volvo C40 Recharge pure electric | Volvo Cars
The fascinating part about the C40 is how you can only purchase one on-line. Volvo dealers will not be selling these cars. Volvo says this approach will be adopted for all the vehicles over time. I might begin a thread which walks the buyer through the process.

I hate that, how do you negotiate when ordering on a computer ??? I bought my 2021 XC60 T8 in May and had three dealers trying to win my business. Was definately worth it.

My twenty years in the business was from 1968 to 1988, prior to the internet and when you could develop a repour with your customers and if you did your job right, you'd get tons of referrals as well as repeat business. A good many of those days was with Porsche and Audi when they were marketed together and the commissions were very good. I wouldn't want to be in it today, the internet ruins everything from the dealership standpoint. Most sales people today are buttkess as far as product knowledge goes. It's painful for me to go into a dealership and wind up telling the sales person facts about a car because of my own research that they don't have a clue about.
I'm glad my car is a 2021 w/o the growing pains of Google integration. But I'm confident Volvo will be able to push all of these issues into the rear view mirror soon and you folk w/model year 2022 will become as happy as I am.

Still can't fathom going to internet only sales for Volvo. But it does seem to work for Tesla so ...... You know what the only constant in life is ??? It's called CHANGE whether we like or not.

When you get your new Volvo, go to XC60 Show us your 'Lectric Volvo, no matter which one - Volvo Forums - Volvo Enthusiasts Forum and post a photo or two and comments about what you like most.

First off, you have a beautiful Volvo! Yes, I will post pics when I get mine.

It has been an interesting journey to be an “almost” Volvo owner. Seems to me, many potential owners have “pain points” which influence their decision making. Stepping into a car dealer showroom or even talking to a salesperson on the phone is a major pain point for me. The intensity is hard to explain. Maybe I was dropped on my head by a car salesperson when I was little.

I am looking forward to owning a car with a Google centered infotainment system. My home is fully automated and is controlled via Google Home and Google Assistant. As I crafted that ecosystem several years ago, I developed the skills to work within the Google structured process. Being able to potentially link my EV to the same system was one of the selling points in my decision making. Should be another interesting project! Not sure if any members of this forum will be initiating a similar project.
