Default Seat & steering wheel heaters

Hello! I have a question regarding draining of the hybrid battery in the XC60 T8. Does the heating element of the steering wheel and front seats drain the hybrid battery? It seems to me that, given similar driver usage, I'm not getting a maximum mileage in PURE mode when these heaters are on. Thanks for any information!

Yep, you're running everything on the 'traction' (hybrid) batteries when you're in pure. It really doesn't give you that much of an edge. Go ahead and leave it in the Hybrid mode most times. I was under the impression those features didn't work in 'pure' mode anyway. Also, if you live in real Winter climates, the cold will also shorten your charge by up to 30%. Nothing you can do about other that enjoy the miles you get. Will get better in the summer.
