I’m looking for advice on what driving mode to use for pulling a trailer on an interstate. I have a 2025 XC60 T8 PHEV. Normally I use hybrid mode and manual charging. I’m wondering if I should use power and auto charging? It’s an 1800 mile trip. Trailer weight is 3/4ths of maximum.

 

Use AWD or Power mode for any trailer towing. Make sure your trailer has electric brakes if it's over 1500 lbs.

 

thanks. I finally found the recommended mode. It is AWD. I had no problem towing but gas mileage (17.5 mpg) was much lower than the 68 mpg that I have become accustomed to. It’s understandable of course.
