Default Volvo - Pleased Consider Including NACS for US Market

As Ford and GM transition to the NACS charging plug in the United States, I would suggest that Volvo consider doing the same. The value proposition for owners in the United States is enormous as our public non-Tesla network is generally terrible. If we could natively use the superchargers in the U.S., it would make our cars far more compelling on longer road trips - especially in the American west.

Volvo cars are, in my opinion, already miles ahead of Tesla in just about every way - and with the introduction of cars like the EX30 - stand to dominate a U.S. EV market. The very last place Tesla has anything like an advantage is in their network - I know many Volvo owners would happily pay a slight premium at the chargers to gain access to the reliability, accessibility, and quantity of the supercharger network.

I would hate to pay $80k+ for my new EX90 only to be stuck worrying about where I could charge on that long road trip throughout the west.

You might want to re-check your Tesla information. They have a lot more going for them than just their charging network. As the producer of the number 2 selling vehicle in America now (all vehicles, not just EVs), second only to the Ford F-150, Tesla will only further dominate the marketplace as they continue extending their production capacity.

Volvo has recently announced that it will be NACS beginning in '25 and the Tesla stations will be listed as charge points in '24. This implies that the technical details have either been overcome or are not big problems. Has anyone tried to use a TESLA station? I'm unable to get a Tesla account to set up.
