05 Volvo S40 - Starting issue. Starter goes: Tick tick grind Start.
Basically the Starter goes: Tick-tick *grind* Start. It got progressively worse.
Changed the starter and it still did it.
New battery as well.
Has anyone else had this issue yet? What was the fix ?
On a side note, can anyone direct me to any wiring diagrams available for the 05 s40?

When I bought a copy of VIDA I also got a disk with wiring diagrams. I bet you could find it on ebay.
Every time I've had the starter click on me it was low voltage to the starter. You've changed the starter and battery so next check the power and ground cables. Clean the connections, check for breaks, continuity, etc.
