06 S40 Daytime VS Nightime
No matter what position I put the switch on my S40.. it seems as if the light intesity is the same and never changes during the day or night. I just realized that the daytime & nightime light bulb is the same.. what is the whole purpose of switching the lights to the night time *** if the intesity is the same and doesn't make a difference in the intesity of the light.
Does anyone know if the volt distribution to the lights are less when the car is running on DRL vs Nighttime mode? I just added a 6000k HID Xenon kit to my 2006 S40 and I love them... In the manual it reads to disable DRL's cause they run on a lower battery voltage and light intensity and it will ruin the xenon lights. I know this is true but is it true for the VOLVO it seems as if they light intesity is the same the only thing that changes when it comes to night time are the lights on my radio...
