06 S40 loud when starting cold

06 S40 loud when starting cold

I have an 06 S40 and when starting the vehicle from a cold engine, it is pretty loud until the idle speed goes down to about 1000.
Anyone else having this problem?

i have an older one..the 05 and when i sart it in it very loud too until the idle...but i also have intake for it

I wish I could own a 2005 Volvo and say it was "older" To me that is a new car. Guess thats expected from a poor college student
