I used my aux input for the first time today with my MP3 player and noticed the sound only came out of the left front speakers. Is this normal? I'vegone thru all the menu options available under AUX mode but none of them give mesound thru all speakers.

 

have u look at the cable u plug from MP3 player to the jack and see if u wiggle it and if it have different? Look carefully and see if jack is cracked due to strain from plug on cable? I've seen on XC90 but not S40.. The jack was cracked due to wrong cable that was used also does not have a 90 degree elbow on the male jack on cable (unnecessary strain can cause aux plug to crack if it's plastic... One last thing see if contact inside jack is worn or bent by any chance... hope that helps
