07 s40 vibration solved
after replacing CV joints front shocks wheel balancing front and alignment I finally discovered where the vibration originated. It appears that the right front motor mount had collapsed. After taking it to a mechanic it seems he overlooked that. Finally I discovered that collapsed right front shock Ordered it online for $33 it took approximately 45 minutes to install. This procedure is relatively simple, there are only four bolts that hold the right front engine mount in place. I jacked The motor up a couple of inches to take the pressure off the.old mount. after the installation was complete I test drove the car zero I repeat zero vibration when accelerating although it was minimal it annoyed me and now it is fixed. You can find instructions on YouTube if you need assistance. Cheers Chef Mario
