15,000 mile check-up??
I bought my S40 in Feb. with 11,000 miles on it. After reading several things on the forum, I am concerned about the price of the 15,000 mile check up. My oil change label says the next is due at 16,000 so I planned to bring it to the dealer then. Must I bring it at 15,000??
What do they do at 15,000?? How much can I expect to be charged??
Do you know if I can go to my own mechanic rather than the dealership and still have the Certified Used guarantee in effect?? Someone told me there is a law that states it can be done as long as VOLVO approved parts are used.
I think this is the best car I have ever owned, but I am worried about the cost of maintenance.
Thanks for your help.

RE: 15,000 mile check-up??
I must confess I have not read the manual very thoroughly; I read some messages talking about the high price of the routine maintenance and worried that it was the 2005.......
Should I bring it in at 15,000 or wait until 16,000 as that is what is on the little oil change sticker on the windshield??
