2000 S40 not starting
This is my first post...here goes. My 2000 S40 has gotten me through a lot of ups and downs, hopefully somebody out there knows what's the problem. This evening I went out to start the car. I turned the ignition; nothing happened. There is little to no power available inside the cabin for lights, etc. I figured I must have left a light running inside the vehicle. Anyways, I used a battery charger on the battery for approximately 15 minutes then tried to start the car again. This time, I hear a fast-paced, repeated clicking noise when the ignition is turned on, which abruptly stops when I release the key. Also, the lights inside the cabin are again working normally. Anyone know what is up?? Thanks for your help,

RE: 2000 S40 not starting
Might be a bad starter or still a weak battery.
Try charging the battery somemore. The battery might be bad as well. If there is a bad Cell then it might not start off the charger. |
