Hello,
My drivers side marker light (the one in the fender) recently went out. I know it's a closed unit and I picked up a new one. Popped the old one out, snipped the wires and twisted the new one on. Turned the key and it was still out. I removed that part of the fender and I noticed that the wires branch off to a small piece that clips onto something, but it was loose/not in place. I seem to have found what it clips into (small rectangular female end near the bottom of the fender, but in the front not the side like the light) and put it back in place. Still no light.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them. Thanks for reading.

Not sure, can you post pics? My side marker lights are not a sealed unit, they twist out of the lense socket. Did you test the old light or just toss it in the trash?

 

Here is a link (CLICK) to an image of the housed light. The original light was lost during a fender-bender, so I am unable to test it.
