Hey guys, can someone please tell me exactly what i need for a timing belt change for Volvo S40 year 2001? This is the first time changing the timing belt and i just need to know exactly what to order.. do i need the whole timing belt kit? or do i just need the actual timing belt by itself.. somone told me that the water pump was ok and did not need to be changed. Pleaseeeeee help thank you!

 

Yes order the kit. It should come with the belt and 2 pulleys.

 

I have a V40 with 140 thousand miles. Belt was changed at about 60 thousand now it's time to do it again. Should I go ahead and change the water pump when I do the belt change. Also...if so what is the best brand of belt, pulley, and water pump to use.
