I purchased a new Camshaft Position Sensor for my Daughter's 2002 S40 - she got warning lights on the dash and I took it to a local auto store who put it on their diagnostic machine. It indicated the above mentioned sensor was bad / throwing a fault.

So I order the sensor as I understand it's not very difficuly to replace. If anyone knows the approximate location of this sensor on the engine would you please drop me a quick answer.

It is on the back of the motor on the end of the exhaust camshaft. There is 2 10MM bolts holding it on.
