2002 Volvo S40 - Another question (re: Trans.)
I just bought a 2002 Volvo S40 - 110,000 km, automatic
I find that when the transmission changes gears (1-2, 2-3) it is slighgtly more noticeable than in most other automatics that I have driven. I have no problem with this at all, in fact I kind of like it, but I am wondering whether it is SUPPOSED to be this way or is it a sign of a potential problem down the road.
Thanks in advance for any answers.

Had the trany flushed today. Good thing too, because the fluid was a disaster. The oil was changed by the dealrer before I picked up the car.
There is a bit of a difference now in the shift changes, a bit smoother.
Deflated the tires, the dealer had infalted them far too much (over 40 psi).
Now, I have to have the driver's-side headlight wiper fixed. Want to do a wheel alignment as well.
