Default 2003 Rear cat replacement

So the rear cat blew yesterday where the mesh is; I was calling dealers for parts and its looking like $866 from volvo, plus 10 for gasket. So is it all that difficult to replace the rear cat converter. I'm pretty good working with cars but never came across this. So is it just a simple bolt on solution as it looks; Also is it worth getting the part from volvo, Online vendors have the between $200-550 (Davico, Benchmark , Magnaflow) also should I look into getting replacement bolts and a sensor while Im at it? Will my sensor go crazy after replacing with an aftermarket cat? Thanks for any info/advice

The rear cat? There is nothing monitoring it, why not just get it cut out?

Again just throw it out.The 2nd CAT is SS outside but its ceramic inside. It is not neded by law.If you still want one I have mine for sale.It is not a bolt on you have to have a shop velding it in so I dont know why your mech want a gasket as well and where hes going to install it.I have a feeling you are being played.
