2004 fuel filter change

I am attempting to preform my first fuel filter change. Any tips? my main question is, how does one remove the plastic panel covering the filter?

If the '04 model is anything like the '00 you will need a trim removal tool to pry out plastic rods that hold the panel that covers the filter.

I'll second that. I tried doing this with just a flathead screwdriver and ended up ripping several of the plastic push rods off.

What about the tool needed to remove the fuel lines from the actual filter?
