Okay I'm going to say it's thermostat because it overheated one time about 2 months ago and then it didn't overheat again for a month and then it progressively got worse and worse until finally it entered limp mode and I limped it into my mechanic and before we rip it apart when I'm trying to diagnose it a little bit further but being that it wasn't intermittent cooling problem I'm thinking thermostat because it literally blew a hole through the reservoir
