I am trying to check for any corrosion on my outside temperature sensor. I know the sensor is located on the drivers side mirror. Any ideas how I can take it apart. I took off the speaker cover from inside the car and I still can't figure out how to take mirror apart to check the sensor without breaking anything.

 

Hey, same issue here and would love some insight on this. A very worthy question and a common problem from what I read. Deserves a response form those with the knowledge.
