Happy New Year everyone. I recently picked up a 2005 S40 T5 that was involved in a minor front right accident. The damage initially appeared isolated to the Electric Power Steering Pump Assembly and A/C canister. When I took the front end off to replace the aforementioned parts, I noticed minor damage from where the steering pump assembly mounting bracket was pushed into the pulley. What are everyone's thoughts on the damage? The engine sounds fine, and the pully doesn't appear to be causing any issues, but I see an o-ring hanging out. Thanks.
If there's any chance on that tensioner being ever so slightly bent or damaged (which it is) - replace it!
On many of these engines - the serpentine belt get shredded, and eventually those pieces get caught up under the timing belt - with disastrous results - namely bent valves that will claim about $4500 (retail) from your wallet and about two weeks of your time. .

Thanks for the input. qq: Is the damaged part the Crank Pulley To A/C Compressor or something else?
