I have a 2005 s40 t5 with 86,000 miles time to replace plugs. Question is SOOOOOOO many to choose from. Car is stock so just looking to buy a good set which comes to who are the original made by and should I just get those or upgrade to beeter set even though all stock, and if so then what brand?????

 

the OEM plugs work just fine if you are not planning any big modifications.

 

OEM plugs are great. I ran Bosch coppers in my modded S40 T5. They are great plugs, you'll have to replace them more often but they're cheap enough to not have to worrie about replacing them more often.

 

I am trying a set of Autolite Xp Iridium. About the same cost as the OEM plugs from the dealer. Ford plugs in a Ford owned company (at the time)? So far so good.
