Default 2006, Fog lights, VIDA

Hello Guys,
I just upgrades my 2006 S40 with front fog lights including the original switch. But I need help activating the fog lights function. I saw previous post about it, but many of the are about the 2004 model. I have my DICE device and I have the VIDA software 2012 and 2013. What else do I need. I used the VIDA software before to erase check engines and SRS codes.

I think it's a software download in which case an illegal copy of VIDA won't work.

This is the screen when I activated mine on my 2003 S40. I don't remember finding it in the "parameters" section to be able to activate it.... maybe it was buried in advanced. I searched for fog and if you go through the found options, you might see the page behind the prompt in my linked image to activate them.

edit, possibly on the advanced tab, going through the programmed values, it's too cold to sit in the car right now (screenshot is from not being connected with dice)

The 2003 is totally different than the P1.

I didn't realize. That's a shame it's a download. Hope they don't gut you on the price.

I just checked and yes, there is a software download required. Should be about $50 for the software plus an hour labor.

This is helpful, thank you. I have a question if I buy an aftermarket Vida Dice like on Ebay or something can I activate my OEM fog lights (CEM) I picked up at a junk yard and installed on my 05 S40? What about software? Thanks a bunch! I'm trying to avoid going to the Dealer to do this but don't want to drop some coin on a Vida Dice if it can't be done.
