2006 S40 2.4i HID XENON OPTION
I want to replace my front lights H11 low beam regular light bulds.. to a HID Xenon - 12000K Purple High intesity. I want to make a purchase online for these Replacement bulbs ($240) but Im not shure if they will fit my car. I looked at the owners manual and I have a 55w H11 type and an option of Xenon D2S.. Im kinda confused cause both bulbs have different connectors.. will I have to buy a kit ($460) or can I just switch out the lightbulbs? Im hoping someone can help.. cause I don't want to have to buy the whole kit..

1. You need to search because you can get a whole HID kit out there for way less then $460.
2. I will be nice and give you the website link where you need to purcahse your HID kit from.
http://www.sharphid.com/
That is where you need to buy your kit from.
3. Why do you want 12,000K? The only differences between those and say 4300-6000K is color and the amount of Lumens that are produced. You know going to 12K actually provides less light output. 4300-5500K produces the most light output or Lumens. The only thing you get with 12000K is a different color.
Now if the color is all you want, by all means get them. But your going to sacrifice light output. I personally would want to look good and be able to see the road better. Then having purple lights and not being able to see the road as well.
