2008 s40 ac problem
I have a 2008 s40...im having trouble with my ac...it runs for a bout 5 mins and it stop blowing cold completely ... i turn it of for a min or 2 and when i turn it back on it runs for a mins or 2 and then shuts down again...etc..etc...
compressor going out??
switch of some sort??
thing blows cold as ice when its blowing but i have no clue...wanted to get opinion before i spend a fortune at volvo !?

Sounds like the A/C clutch
A/C clutch does not engage due to wear.
We have a 2008 s40 doing the same thing.
Blows for 10-30 minutes depending on how hot, then nothing but warm air.
After letting it rest for a while start over again.
Hopefully soon to be fixed.
