Hello Everyone,

I just joined the Volvo family and I am loving it. However in my 2010 S40 there is a whirring/clicking in the dash between the steering wheel and radio and it continues for about 30 seconds after the car is off. I can feel it vibrate when I put my hand there, and the sound changes pitch when I put pressure on it. Does anyone know what would be in there that would be making that noise? Especially for several seconds after the car is off?

Have had xc40 (2020) into Service x 3. Loud clicking sound in front dash above radio area when turning car on. Started just in morning, however, continues throughout day when starting car up again. Lasts a few minutes. They have recalibrated the damper motors. Thought it was a stuck sylinoid? Weather/temperature outside of no consequence.
Picked up car in yesterday afternoon from Service. When starting car up later that day the clicking started.
