Tomorrow morning I'll be picking up my 2011 Volvo S40 5-Speed Automatic 2.5 T5 Turbocharged Saloon (Sedan)!

I can't wait!!

The car is replacing the 2011 SAAB 9-5 6-Speed Automatic 2.8 V6 Turbocharged Saloon (Sedan), since the SAAB decided to shear a con rod at only 19,000 miles

I got a full refund for the car, and decided to buy the cheaper Volvo, as I'd heard very good things about the car.

 

That is a shame about the Saab. I have long been curious about them but never owned one.

Congrats on the Volvo. I am on my 3rd Volvo. They can have issues to but usually annoying things, never anything major. My '05 V50 T5 has been the best of the lot and would certainly buy another one.

Did they start putting 6 spd auto transmissions int these cars? I thought they were 5 spd.

The 2011 Volvo S40 is in my drive way!

I drove her the 62 miles home, and boy, that was 62 fantastic miles!

The black and white leather seats hug you in all the right places, the steering wheel gives you a great grip, and the instrument cluster is fantastically designed.

the 5-Speed Automatic transmission is one of the best automatics I've ever used, and flows in and out of gears.

The 18" Midir alloys look superb, and give the car excellent handling.

Basically - I love my S40!!
