I have an '02 volvo s40 1.9T. The battery was replaced about 4 months ago with a brand new one. Last night it started fine when i went to the store. I think i may have left a door open or the dome light on (the reading lights were on) now when i try to start the car, i hear a repetitive clicking noise and the engien trying to turn over every now and then. I tried to jump it from an '06 G6 but nothing seems to help. Is my new battery dead? Should i buy a new one?

 

The battery should be warrantied have it replaced.

 

good call go see who you bought it from and get a new battery.

 

ask for the replacement
don't mention a thing about leaving your dome light on
The warrantyshould cover it.
