I just got a quote from my local dealer.
He wants to charge $800-$900 for the 60.000-Miles-Service!
Is that not a little bit to much?

How much did you pay for a major service?

My 60k check up cost me 600 up front, but they found a few things wrong with it, like 2 head light housing and a leak on my timing chane, ending up bout 1200. I got it done at the volvo dealership.

 

I just paid $1600 for the 60K service and 2 brakes. I feel taken

 

2021, S60 60K miles. Just got the 60K tune up. Two weeks ago, the car idle went to zero on the RPM. Everything shut down- AC for instance, at an intersection.
Of course the dealer didn't notice it. It kept happening for about 15 miles off and on at insections. Did it fix itself? No problem this morning.

 

did they check for stored fault codes? Dealer should have put the car on VIDA to see if any of the modules reported something like a CAN BUS error etc. Does you car have a start/stop system enabled? I'm wondering if it could be a battery / voltage issue.
