Hi, I want to know, does it fit in thefront clear lights fromS40 2000 to S40 1996? Everything fit ok? or where some problems? Maybe someone has made this changes.
Where is a picture, what I am talking about. This is S40 2000, I need this lights.

Im not sure we didn't get them here in the U.S. till 2000.

Yeah,
I have same desire, too. 1997-1999 v/s-40 front lights aredisaster. It wasMitsubishi-Volvo-Renault cooperation and I think front lights are from Mitsubishi. Bad choice.
Awaitng answer from anyone who tried this before.

Tech at the service says that mounting points are the same for newer front lights model. Only wirings must be adjusted, since old lights use H4 halogen light, while newer models have separate focus for short and long beam.
Also he said that he is not sure, whether blinkers must be changed too to fit or not.
