Default Air Filter change

Apologies in advance for a newbie question, but anyone familiar with changing the air filter on a 2006 T5 and what should I keep in mind?

I bought a Mann filter from IPD and am preparing to replace the air filter myself. Just curious if it's a simple pop out and pop in process like most cars or if I have to remove a lot of things to get to the filter itself. Any special tools? Anyone have any step-by-step photos or manuals? Let me know if you know. Thanks!

Thanks for the help! The air filter change was quite easy indeed and the process was just as you described it.

(For those looking for specifics, the air filter housing is basically right in the middle, near the grille. After unscrewing, just yank upwards toward your chest and the air filter slides out.) The whole "surgery" took less than 5 minutes.

And for those who are wondering, IPD is a great place to buy online -- I was pleasantly suprised. The Mann air filter is exactly as described and came in less than 5 days, using standard shipping. (I think it came in 3 days.) The Mann filter is the same brand Volvo uses, so it's all good.
