Alarm goes off randomly and "Driver door is open" error shows up

Alarm goes off randomly and "Driver door is open" error shows up
2004.5 Volvo S40 Turbo - I have two problems that may actually be one. Please give any recommendations u may have.
1. The OEM alarm randomly goes off and then turns itself off. An error messages shows up warning me that the alarm has gone off.
2. Randomly the driver front door will not lock when I start the car and an error message "Driver door is open" shows up and lights stay on. I open and close the door but still nothing changes. I have to turn ignition off and then restart.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
