Hi

I have a 2005 s40 that has just had a second hand steering rack fitted by my local mechanic. I now have anti skid service required on the dash and I'm not sure how to get it off volvo say it will cost £780. Not good as I had rear shocks fitted also 2 weeks ago. I would appreciate any help or advice.

Your local mechanic undoubtedly caused this problem when installing the steering rack. You probably need a steering angle sensor calibration or something like that.
