we had this intermittent. looked like computer went CRAZY, turned out that some of the terminal connections needed replaced on main brain. Thank God for extended warranty. Volvo couldn't believe it covered it. been fine ever since.(BTW, went to our local Volvoworks(generic place works on volvos) told me we needed the control unit for anilock brakes) charged a pretty penny, didn't resolve it)

I've a V50 estate and last year the ignition barrel failed it cost £500 to sort it then just in jan the steering sensors went it was another £550 to repair no a warning light for anti skid service needed . What we'll happen if I don't do. Anything and how much will it cost. Wish I'd never bought the Volvo .
