ok i have a 2000 volvo s40 fwd auto.My L cv axle went out I replaced I get grr kind of sound in p, r. d, and low gears no movement. i rechecked and found my right inner cv axle is bad as well torn boot and when spun by hand (axle) it turns and pauses. Is right side related to transmission grrr sound? Also in gear i hear right side turning but not left axle? Last is power transfer form right to left or equally?
