if i remove the battery what will happen to my s40 (2007model) program? r the going to be erased, will i need programming again?

 

I am not sure what you mean by "programming"...? About the only thing you will lose is your radio/clock info. Make sure you have your radio code to unlock your radio.
I am not sure where I got this item but I have a cig. plug that uses a 9 volt battery that you plug into the lighter socket. It has worked on BMW, GMC, my Yamaha Venture motorcycle and Volvo.
