got a 05 s40 2.4i...

i was out late looking at Christmas lights with the girlfriend and didn't see a freakin' bolder size rock in the middle of the road... I made it home but of course the damage had been done... i have all my car's oil on the ground now.

I work at an oil transformer rebuild shop so i have the ability to bring it in for a weld if need be... i would like to know the material its made of (alum, magnes, cast?) that would determine if there's even a reason to pull it out and bring it in.

Also, if i need to buy a new... anybody know of a place? maybe used?
