S40, 2003, 63K. I commute long distances every day. I've been hearing a rough vibrating sound on the drivers side. I checked and the wheels are fine. I discover that the black side spoiler is coming loose. Tonight I hope to just take the whole thing off as some bolts are missing.
I'm looking for either a diagram or if anyone knows how many bolts will have to be removed. Since I want to be quick and get on the road, it might help.

 

Are you talking about the cover that hides the front of the motor?(On the bottom)

 

No, I'm talking about the black strips (side skirts?) that run down either side, below the doors. I'll probably just remove whatever bolts are left and take it off to go home noise-free.

 

I think there is 2 to 4 screws in each one. Then the rest is held by clips.

 

I got the side skirt off. 1 screw (possibly one fell off). All the loops, that hook onto the posts, have torn.
I'm considering a new one, if I can find it, and the price isn't crazy. Suggestions?
My Plan B is to just get new clips. Are these readily available at an auto parts or big home center?
On to my next item (new post coming). Severe vibration, which I though was caused by the loose side skirt. It's more than that
