I got in my 2000 s40 1.9T and the brakes pushed very easily all the way to the floor then the brake light came on I checked my fluid it was low in the resevoir so I added some more. I went back to the car later to see a puddle of brake fluid under the car. I had my wife push the brakes so I could see where the leak was and it was shooting out near the pads. Has anyone had this problem? And can a simple hose replacement work?

 

You will have to pull the wheel and inspect and see if it is the hose or caliper.

 

Thank you it is the front brake hose leaking at the fitting. I have one ordered from a parts store im in the middle of no where so it takes about a day for it to get here.

 

Hopefully you get it soon and get it all fixed.
