I'm new to volvo's. What's the proper break in period and process for these engines. Just got a 2006 S40, and would like to do it right.

 

Hi I'm new as well (XC90). My dealer told me that the only thing I'd need to be careful is not to drive over 100Mph for the first 1000 Miles.

My dealer told me there is no break-in period anymore for Volvo's.

 

I didn't buy my '99 S70 new, but I do know that it lists the break-in periods in the DRIVER'S MANUAL. Make sure to check there.

Lol, I remember next to the break-in period for driving 110 it had... **** OBEY ALL POSTED SPEED LIMITS!
