Busted Tires Sitting On Rim On ground OK?
Hi, both of my car tires are busted, flat and driven for a mile. My dealer has to order new V-class tires for me. Both of my rims/wheels are sitting on the ground, is this ok? will this damaged my wheels/rims? My dealer said he'll get the new tires in a week, is this ok?
Hi, the dealer hasn't checked the rims/wheels yet, so I don't know if the wheels/rims are damaged, but I thought if they weren't damaged, maybe they would be after sitting on the ground for a week. Both tires are gone.... The plastic bumbers on the bottom of the car(side)became loose, is it hard to get them fixed? Also, are V class tires worth the week wait and $50 more each? With the tow and all, it'll cost me $900
I have to replace the other two, since they are worn out. The dealer checked with the gauge and said they were at 4 and 5.
thanks,

AFAIK V tires are appropriate if you drive at speeds higher of 170 KM/H..... About the rims, if they are lying at the floor odds are almost 100% that they are not going to be damaged. If I were you I would replace the tires, do a good balance and go for a ride to check for vibrations and other malfunctions..
