"cold" start problem
Good morning all. I've asked this before but I seem to have narrowed it down a little more. 03 S40 will not high idle when I 1st start the car in the AM when the outside air temp is below 62 deg. based on the dash display. I have to crack the gas pedal a touch to keep it running but only for about 30-60 seconds and after that time it will idle(1100rpm) fine until it warms up and will run and start fine the rest of the day. If outside air temp 1st thing in the AM is 65+ deg. the car starts as it should, don't have to give it any gas, and idles fine. So my question is ,What sensors are involved to set the "choke"(high idle) when the care is "cold". There are no codes when scanned and no drop in fuel mileage, and no vacuum leaks? that I can find, although we have only checked for vacuum leaks after the car is warmed up. Any feedback and list would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
