The VIN itself does not indicate the color but there is a separate build plate, usually in the door jamb or under the hood on the firewall or inner fender. Look for a five digit number in an NNN-NN format. The paint code is the first three digits ie say you see 417-21. Your paint code is 417 (which happens to be Nautic Blue metallic)
