Default Which cylinder is which?

Think I have a bad coil (misfire, cylinder 3). Is it 1-2-3-4 from passanger to driver's side?

Also have the intermitent front 02 code, but don't think it's related to the misfire.

Update:

This makes no sense. Switch the coils today. Now misfire on cylinder 2!

1 and 4 are on one coil and 2 and 3 are on another (I'm assuming cylindes are numbered in a straight line).

So I shoul dhave expected the misfire on 1 or 4 after the swap, not on 2...

Any ideas?

CN: Misfire on 3, switched coils, misfire on 2....

Help!

IF you switched the coils and it is no another cylinder missfire....Then it sounds like a bad coil.

Wait for the experts to get on....

Normally, I would say yes. But there aren't 4 coils on the car. Only 2. One for 1 (cyl.) and 4 and one for 2 and 3. So, I took the 2/3 coil (after having a cyl 3 misfire) and swapped it with the 1/4 coil. That SHOULD result in a 1 or 4 misfire code, not a cylinder 2 code as I got. See what I'm saying?

The suspected bad coil didn't misfire on the cylinders I moved it to.

Can someone confirm that one coil is for cylinders 2 and 3, and the other for 4 and 1? Seems clear that's the case.

Yes one coil is for 1 and 4 and the other for 2 and 3.
Not sure why it did what it did either very weird. But also alot of times both coils go at the same time. Or a wire is bad(Ignition wire)
