My daughter clipped the mirror and the two halves separated with some damage to tabs but basically they are cosmetically fine and mechanics are fine. I don't want to spring for a new one but I could not get the bottom half in position to clip in the tabs. I think I need to take the mirror off to do this. Can I do that without taking off the door panel? e.g. access the screws from behind the black triangle piece on the inside that has the small speakers? Does that piece snap off...don't want to break it.
