Hi all,

Looking on some advise to fix my driver side door.

2002 Volvo S40.

When trying to unlock my car using the key on the drivers side, the door wont open.

In order to enter the vehicle I need to open the passengers side door first. Jump in the passengers seat and press the door unlock button. This unlocks all doors. I then go back round to the drivers side and climb in.

When locking the car it will only work if I put the drivers side button down first, close the door, then with the key it will auto lock all the other doors.

Any ideas how to fix this problem?

I dont have an electronic Key fob so just use my key in the door.
