Drivers Door Wiring Harness
I have a 2001 volvo S40 and the drivers door wiring harness needs to be replaced as somewhere the power wire in the harness is broken or shorting out. (I found this out after replacing window switch, checking fuses, relays etc. and finally broke down and took it to a dealer...they unfortunately want $1000 plus to replace it).
Does anyone have instructions on how to replace this? A mechanic friend told me that if I buy a new or used harness and put it in, I may have to have the computer in the car reprogrammed. Which seems odd. Thanks - PR
