Driver's seat belt frayed from B-pillar
The driver's seat belt appears to be frayed from rubbing on the B-pillar trim slot when its pulled and released. Anyone have any alternatives to buying a new one other than the dealer (~$225)? How can I prevent this from happening to the replacement belt?
try to smooth the edges of the plastic slot that the belt glides through. a razor blade drawn backwards or some 600~800 grit sandpaper would work. don't go crazy with it but just put a smooth edge to any sharp plastics in the belt area.
